Soy Isn't Green

So nothing is open, so I just grabbed a cold premade vegan wrap out of the cooler. Super disappointed. Like no veggies in it (specifically one leaf of lettuce -_-), and then it had rice and soy curls. I hate how vegan shit goes so crazy with soy. There are other vegetables! And think about it, really think about it...they only do it because they are trying to sell vegan-ism to people who love meat. Western culture is all about its meat and three. In other cultures and societies they may only eat meat once or twice a week. A true vegan or vegetarian hopefully knows this, but a lot of the hoity toity college students at that time of their life where they know everything and they are super cool and conscientious so they get stuff with soy because they think it's better for animals may not have considered that yet. But it's not better for animals; that's a lie, because the soybean is owned by Monsanto, who single-handedly has fucked over every other farmer in the United States. They also use ungodly amounts of pesticides and GMO's and plant miles on miles of soybeans effectively destroying any animal habitat and devastating local insect populations. Most fields are pollinated by plane. So really think about where your food comes from. Soy is as incomplete a nutrition as corn and that's basically all we eat here. It may say juice or whatever but corn syrup makes up the bulk and all our chickens, pigs, cows and everything else in the US gets fed mostly corn only diets because its cheap for the businessman. Humans can't even fully digest corn, so what type of nutrition do we think we are even getting?
Whatever you decide to eat, be smart, be aware. Don't take someone's word. Do your own research. I would think if there was one thing in this life we should have total control over its what we eat. Why don't we fight for that more?

If you are interested in learning more then you should check out some documentaries available on Netflix:  Food INC  and More Than Honey

More Than Honey gives really great perspective for vegetarian and vegan consumers as well. Not eating any animal products is almost impossible.
Also, this makes me want to touch on the issue of human waste (non-medical, just regular piss shit and vomit) and chemical sewage treatment.  One, yes I understand that in order for non chemical treatment to be a truly feasible idea there would have to be a population decrease as well as an inside out re-configuring of our socioeconomic conditioning. Two, if all we eat is processed and has a lot of sugars and plastics chemical residues and hasn't been very properly cleaned and has had weekly soakings in pesticides, then it shouldn't be very surprising that our waste is also toxic.  I'm not saying we should all go dig a hole in the dirt when we have to crap, but I am saying that we probably could and not have so many harmful side effects if we ate things that were natural and non-processed. Energy should go: sun-->plant--> animal-->human OR sun-->plant-->human NOT sun-->plant-->animal--> factory-->human. Three, what nutritional value could a processing plant of plastic and wood and metal and chemicals have?

PS: Yes, I know i updated it quite extensively, but I wrote it initially on brreak at work, so it had to be cut short then. I'm not sorry, enjoy the new riff.
